Homework: 1-6 p47 #2-10 Review of angle pairs like complementary and supplementary angles. We also worked with area of squares, rectangles, triangles and circles.

Today's assignment: p17 9,10,17 and p24 1-6,12-14 Today we talked about distance and length and about how distance is ALWAYS positive! We also started using the Segment Addition Postulate.
Today's homework was p17 3,4,6,7,11,12 Today in GeoCore, we talked about measuring with an inch ruler and breaking an inch down into fractions of an inch. Afterwords, we started to build out new Geometry vocabulary. We learned new mathematical words like point, line, plane, collinear, coplanar, and more.
Today's Homework was p9 13-27. Link to the notes sheet given in class... 1.1 Notes . In class today, we talked about Grit and how it can help students pass challenging math classes. We completed the scavenger hunt at the beginning of the book to familiarize ourselves with the geometry book. No homework!
